Wow. I can't believe today marks 20 weeks and the halfway point through my pregnancy. That's insane to me.

But on the plus side, we figured out that we are having a little GIRL.

Baby Freedom will have her father wrapped around her finger in no time and learn to kick arse like her mum. I'm just thrilled to know because my parents have been bothering me for ages wanting to know and it makes it easier to buy things. Plus, ya know, horrible with surprises.

Trip Update.

So apparently I am “the worst daddy ever” because I’m still insisting on rationing the girls candy from Halloween instead of letting them have it all at once. That was according to Laurel. According to Madison I must “hate them and want them to be sad”. That plea almost worked to get them each an extra couple of pieces tonight.

And then I remembered the dentist and the doctor. I’d rather not have to deal with looks from the staff because of them having cavities or whatever else from too much candy.

So I think I’ve finally gotten over the most awkward way ever for my parents to find out I’ve gotten really serious with the guy I’m dating. They heard him in the kitchen making breakfast for us when they called to wish me a late happy birthday, and wanted to know why he was there so early and sounding so happy. I don’t think they liked hearing he was there so early because he’d spent the night. Which was also probably why he sounded so happy but I didn’t tell them that part. I think they might be willing to actually talk to me instead of shouting in about another week.
