Haven't had any new dreams in about a month, which is fine with me really. My last dreams were pretty crappy, but I've been assured it all works out. So, as far as I'm concerned, I don't need to have any more for the time being.

However, I did wake up to find the gold bracelet that Effie made me next to my bed this morning. I was so that Katniss and Peeta would know I was on their side in the Arena. I don't know if I'll actually wear it in real life, cause it's kind of gaudy, but it's a cool keepsake to have.

My dreams have felt like a bunch of running back and forth trying to figure out puzzles in order to get anywhere in the Raccoon Police Department. It's strange, to say the least, but it's not been without incident. There's a lot of zombies, some of them mutated by the virus. Then I saw this little girl in the precinct. I'd started chasing after her, but I have no idea how in the hell she's managed to survive thus far. I guess I'll find out eventually.

I have found one thing I dislike greatly about America.

The sheer amount of paperwork.

Note to self: May be able to take a lot of hits but the fryer still wins.

One burned hand later. Honestly, I need to not knee-jerk react to things. Threw my keys to someone and they missed and hit the oil. I snapped my hand out to grab them. Forgetting, clearly, the fryer was on.

One burned hand, one vat of oil emptied, one fryer cleaned and new oil put in later - this little lady needs a day off. Ow.

These dreams aren't so bad.

Although, dream me has such a large family. Goodness.

Well, I daresay that my daughter has had an excellent birthday. The look on her face when her friends from Germany showed up for her party was priceless indeed. She hasn't stopped talking about it. It was a blessing to see the way her face lit up.

Now my daughter, my wife and I are taking a family vacation around the UK. Having some family time is very much needed for us.

Sometimes you just need to go out and get a new tattoo.

I needed to feel something that wasn't sadness

Given the extended weekend, I think I will go out and celebrate. Not sure where I am going but if anyone wants to join me, shoot me a message. I got some connections to the VIP areas of some of the nicer places.

I'm so excited! It's almost opening night. The performances are almost all sold out so there will be a lot of people eager to see us dance.

I want to have fun! Maybe go dancing, because I spend TOO MANY Saturday nights watching Netflix and drinking wine and acting my age.

I think I'm going to go surfing tomorrow morning. Haven't had a chance to do much surfing lately, so I've been itching to get out there. I hope the waves are good. If anyone wants to join me, I'll be at [name of beach], probably around eight.

Then Monday is a cookout at my parents' house. That means, family and family friends continuously asking me if I'm seeing anyone cause that's how it was at Christmas. This is gonna be so much fun.

So Monday is Memorial Day, I was thinking of maybe going to the beach. Work on a nice tan, clear my mind.
