When I was told to socialize, specifics were not given. The assumption could be made that my parents meant face to face interactions, but since it was implied and not directly ordered, I choose to ignore it.

That awfully awkward and mildly morbid moment when you've woken up to a longbow you picked up from your ex-lover's dead body in these damned silly little dreams. I suppose every girl could use a souvenir from a relationship gone horribly wrong? Is there any formal etiquette that gives you a guideline to what to do with it? Aside from actually using it, anyway, or hanging it up like a prop above your mantle.

Or allowing your pet to gnaw on it, as Schmooples found that to be socially acceptable.

So, for anyone who doesn't know, I am now a vampire. Have been for about two weeks now. No, I do not talk with a Transylvanian accent all of a sudden and no, I do not turn into a bat or mist or anything like that. Yes, I can go out in the sun because of a certain wizard who generously made me daylight jewelry a few months ago. And no, I'm not going around nomming on people at random. I've been working on my self control, which given who made me in the dreams, is pretty good, if I do say so myself.

So yeah. There it is. Been expecting this for awhile and now it's finally happened.

I can't believe that Ben is 3.5 months old now. I'm back to work almost full time. Merlin's back to work. The world keeps on spinning. Life is reaching a new equilibrium. I think we're starting to sleep more, though it's hard to tell. I also think it's time to start sleep training the baby. He needs to get more rest than he's getting, I think. For his health and our sanity.

Sorry, I didn't mention the bakery. We won't be having our usual Thursday night performances tomorrow night. But come in, anyway, and pick up a Sparkling latte.
