Well it was a nice month off from the dreams. I was hoping after my birthday they would have stopped. Should have known better thanks to Damon.

At least my dream self is in college now. Finally all through high school. I’m roommates with Elena which is pretty awesome, but dream boyfriend left me to get revenge on Klaus someone. So yay for that. Looks like I already have someone else lined up though. He's pretty cute too. I sure get around in these dreams.

I worked 60 hours last week. We are a few officers short who are down with the flu. I don't know for how long.

Someone said I also need a social life. I guess I haven't really had one in a little while. So, this is kind of a social life until I get an actual social life.

So, werewolves coming back from the dead are a thing now. Actual zombie werewolves.

Also, has anyone ever heard of a kanima? Some kind of giant lizard-human hybrid with claws that paralyzes people with goo?

I would say FML but it's not actually my life yet.

Does anyone ever feel like they were ridiculously under-prepared when it came to the Dreams? Like there were things you should have been told but weren't?

Happy Veteran's Day/Armistice Day/Rememberance Day. Thank you to every single person who has worked with the military in any form. I still can't believe it's been 100 years since the start of WWI.

My mum was sweet enough to send me a poppy to wear for the past few days and a sweet letter thanking me for my service. I wish I was home so I could see the beautiful poppy installation at the Tower of London. The pictures are breathtaking.

So, if you see someone out and about in military uniform today, please tell them thank you. I promise it will brighten their entire day.

Am I the only one ridiculously excited for this? I mean we're landing a craft on a comet!

I've the strangest urge to procure gratuitous amounts of celery. Odd sort of craving, isn't it? Though... I can't say I feel particularly inclined to consume it. Hm. Well. Moving along from my oddities!

Did you know, as of today (November 11th), there are fifty days left in the year? Interestingly enough, it is also considered 'Singles Day' in China (and Taiwan), so I suggest gratuitous amounts of karaoke, eating Pepero or Pocky (as you prefer it), and see if you can't find some Youtiao in the Eastern spirit of the day! Only a suggestion, of course!
