I think I have found my Halloween costume. There was a shorter version, but I actually like the longer one better. So, no one had better cross me on Halloween or I might turn them to stone.

Getting out my sewing machine. Halloween is right around the corner, and now I've got a costume to make. Actually, I'm pretty excited about it. I haven't used my machine in weeks.

Anyone else making their own costume, or am I the only one? ...anyone else dressing up? That's an adult thing to do, right?

Not even sugar coma starbucks is helping wake me up today. It's going to be a long one. Can't shake this current 'meh' feeling. Guess that's what happens when you work all nighters.

So I'm working on a project that will require some interior design touches. I? can paint. And make my room look homey, but I am not exactly great at it for something more commercial. That said, I have a card for one company, but figured I'd check here on the Net first and see if anyone wanted to help a girl out.

I have three pies in the oven, and one helluva treat for one Lina Inverse: Bacon Wrapped Roaster Chicken for dinner tonight. Yes, I went there. And it smells gooooooood. Neena, darling, you have a new shipment of boozy chocolates coming. Tried something new!

I have a good evening planned tonight, had a couple nice drinks last night with a friend, caught up and experienced the fun of the looks of the Home Depot folk: "Why exactly do you need a stack of drywall boards, cement boards and duct tape by the bucket again?" yeah. Silly Home Depot, don't ask those questions.

You will NOT like the answers.

Dream Update: Still just as bland. Is it too much to hope that this Dream me stays as oblivious and innocent?

Anyway, what are people's plans for Halloween? I'm trying to see if there's a good party to go to!

I am not sure how to even get into Halloween this year.

Staying in and passing out candy sounds like a good time.

Hello everyone, my name is Alison, but most people call me Ali. I've just finished moving into a new house down here and joining the network is a great way to meet my "neighbors". I'm really big into music, so I've been jamming out to a lot of music while setting up my house. Here's my top plays for the past few days.
Oldies: "September" - Earth, Wind, and Fire
New Pop: "Be Okay" - Oh Honey
Classic Rock: "Back in Black" - AC/DC
New Rock: "Love Bites (So Do I)" - Halestorm

What are you guys listening to? I always love new music to listen to

We are officially moved into our new three bedroom condo. Nessie has her new room and I am getting plans ready for the new babies room. While working 12 hour shifts at the hospital and going to college. Super Dad. This is my job folks and I love it.

Woke up to find a bow and a quiver of arrows in bed with me.

Not sure if this was someone's idea of a joke or a present.

Either way, I guess this is a sign from the universe that I should take some archery lessons.

I've just recently moved to Orange County and have been strongly encouraged to use Valarnet to... network, I suppose. So here goes.

I'm Kate. This place is very overwhelming to someone from a small town in Texas, but I'm eager to get out and explore. There's really only so many day-time soaps I can watch with my aunt before going crazy (by which I mean one day was plenty) and I don't start school until Monday.

So, how about it? Any places I absolutely have to see, right away, lest I be ostracized for being uncultured? Bonus points if it's easily accessible via bus from the La Habra area. Until I can save up to get a car, public transit and I will be BFFs.

So, I guess the whole friends with an ex thing is just as complicated in my Dream World as it is here. I told my ex that I was going to Oxford, and he didn't take it all that well. I don't know, I shouldn't have tried. All of the things between us were so complicated. A clean break probably would have been the best thing for both of us.

My phone has no storage space left, so I'm working on uploading all my photos to my laptop and I came across these gems from the San Francisco trip over Easter. I figured, what with it being Throw Back Thursday and all, I'd put up my offering.

Cut for image heavy post; viewable to all - one photo with a rude gesture. )
