My new boots came today!

I'm especially excited because they'll match my jeans? I mean, I think my regular purple boots match them okay, but these are just out of this world.

I can't wait to wear them! I'm just sad you can't see them on the radio.

There was an older lady in my class this morning. The look on her face when I took out my satyr sock puppet to discuss the appropriate mythology was bloody hilarious.

I was thinking 'It's a satyr, love, it has to be anatomically accurate.'

I think my day just got a little better.

I know I can be an asshole but you ain't got an idea how much of an ass you can be 'till you have those fuckin' dreams.

I had a blast last night. I'm really enjoying my night job.

I think the dreams everyone's talking about are nothing more than mass hysteria, and quiet self-aggrandizing, if I'm being totally honest. No, if I'm being totally honest, I say they are a self-serving, cyclical delusion. Pathetic. Superheros? Vampires? Improbably accurate super-sleuths? Rubbish.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not actually very romantic. I know, some of you out there will find that absolutely bizarre, but I assure you it's very true.

This is a very upsetting realization. Is there a way for people to learn romance or is it simply a quality some are born with and others must make due without?

I know everyone's tired of hearing this, but, geez, it's already the end of the month? I feel like it was New Year's Eve just yesterday. If I didn't know better, I'd say time was passing a lot quicker here in Orange County than everywhere else. (Let's be honest, none of us would be surprised, though.)

I hope everyone's year's gotten off to a good enough start. Seems to be a lot of pretty harsh dream things happening lately, which isn't all that great, actually.

I don't know if I noticed this before. But does everyone dream in order? I don't think I'm dreaming in chronological order. I'm sure in a recurring dream I'm on the brink of death.

I'm worried. My father wants to meet me for dinner.

I forsee a lot of drunken injuries on Sunday regarding the Super Bowl. I think I might start an office poll at the hospital tomorrow regarding the number of alcohol poisoning victims that we'll get.
