Alright hotties, I've got a party to go to on New Year's Eve in order to start out with a good bang. I'm going to need a date or two. Any takers? It'll be wicked fun and there'll be pie and other delicious things, and we'll get you whatever you prefer for drinking.

That said, as a warning, I'm probably going to do something majorly stupid at said party. No worries, it'll be fine. Just stupid. Like I said, bringing in the new year with a bang.

I've never given a fuck about football... But this morning I woke up and there was news about the Eagles beating the Cowboys and I felt like it mattered. I mean, I was ecstatic. They made the playoffs. I jumped off the couch and cheered and spilled my coffee.

Even now, when I think about it, my heart starts pounding.

So, in honor of the fact that I've just lived through maybe the third most embarrassing way to come out to your parents ever, me and Lara are going away for New Year's. Where I'm taking her is a secret but we're totally on our way to boarding a plane right now and do you know how hard it is to keep it a secret when it's like printed on the board and everyone keeps talking about it?

I have her in earplugs and blindfolded. Try explaining that to the TSA.

Hey Portia, that dress came out amazing, by the way, and I can't wait to wear it tomorrow night. I'm pretty sure Lara's going to bust something!

Anyway, Happy New Year guys! We'll be back on like Thursday.

It's safe to come back, the parents are gone. We restocked the fridge for you guys. Dani, the cats miss you.

Well the number my brother was using has gone dead. Or like now a Mexican lady answers and tells me I have the wrong number in Spanish. At least I think that's what she's saying. Oh well it was nice while it lasted.

In order to welcome in the New Year - which will hopefully not be quite as crazy as this one though I'm not holding my breath on that - Stark Industries will be holding a party on New Years eve.

I hope everybody had a lovely Christmas and I look forward to seeing you at the party.

Well, he's in town. He's moved here, to the same place I've also moved to. I don't know if that's fate or karma punishing me for something I've done in a former life.

And he's still snobby, and he still makes me want to scream and throw things, but his face is still... and the way he speaks, and his everything and I wanted to slap him. Then kiss him. Then slap him.

... And why is this bloody photograph staring at me like I should be guilty?

So my mom's surprise is that I'm flying back on Sunday and she's coming with me. But that's not all. Because of the wedding and everything, she never got a chance to come out to see the campus, so she wants to see it plus she's gonna buy me a used car. Her and Paul. So that I can get around easier. She also wants to meet Annabeth after all these years of just saying hi on Skype.

Now some people would think that getting a car would be the best present, but one of my presents from Annabeth was arm floaties, which is probably weird to most people, but I've got a fear of water and seeing as how my godly parent in the dreams in Poseidon, I figured it was time to try and get over my fear; hence the arm floaties.

So, I'll be the one to start the topic. Anybody got resolutions? Anybody think they got a prayer of keepin' em?

I was gonna resolve to be more humble, but I figure the wife will tell me that shit ain't gonna work out.
