I just discovered something fun.

Well, I feel like wedding planning would be going much better if I didn't have to deal with these damn dreams. I thought I was in the clear for a while, but apparently not. Mystic Falls is such an interesting place that it needs to appear in my dreams once again. There's just too much craziness going on and it's really making my head spin because everyone is so different here than they are there.

I am such a bitch in my dreams. And everyone is out for my family. At least I can say that my family tends to stick together. I really don't enjoy seeing this side of myself though. I know that my family isn't perfect here, but holy crap at what we do in these dreams. It's not okay.

Where are you in the dreams? Because some more things happened between us and they're kind of crazy.

Training my new dog seems to be going well. He already knew how to sit, thankfully, so I've been working on laying down and playing dead for fun. We went to a couple puppy training classes to get his obedience in and he's doing much better on walks than the first time we went out. I'm trying to get him to stop jumping up on people since that is proving to be a little more difficult than I thought it would be.

But besides that I think I've finally been hit by dreams. I dreamt I was a young man in the late 1600's in my hometown of Salem and my sister was kidnapped by witches. I know, weird. It just freaked me out more than it should because we had a similar type thing happen when she was younger, so it was like deja vu, but thankfully that didn't involve witches. But I followed along to find her and stumbled upon the three witch sisters in the cottage attempting to drain Emily's life force. The dream ended before I could do anything, but I can't help but feel extremely anxious about the whole thing. If my dreams are going to be like this then I don't want to dream anymore.

Waking up in a cold sweat with tears streaming down my face wasn't what I had planned for this morning. Fuck these dreams. This is not okay and I wish they wouldn't toy with your emotions.

I have to say I've so far had overwhelming support for my endeavor.

So far, we'll have art classes for kids - aimed for anyone who really doesn't have daily access to it. But we'll be opening classes to everyone, as I don't want to limit anyone who wants access to art. I'll be hosting voice workshops for anyone who wants to work on singing, and photography workshops, too.

I hope that I'll have teachers for all the different artistic areas soon. I look forward to it all. This place is so welcoming! Thank you, all, again!


On a side note, I find myself actually missing singing on Stage broadway, off broadway. Maybe I'll look into joining a small group here, because I guess as much as I try, I can't go months without it.

I am either the coolest teacher on the face of the planet (and possibly a witch/wizard/whatever) or these kids have the worst parents on the face of the planet. Who keeps letting them come to my class and going on these "field trips?" I wonder if they tell their parents what they did at school that day and what lies were told to get permission slips signed.

I finally had another dream and this time we went to a dinosaur dig. I apparently have made lots of connections as a teacher and one of the paleontologists shows us an egg she found. Well, of course my students had to go investigating and my magical bus took us back into time to the Cretaceous period and there were a lot of dinosaur interactions. Jurassic Park, eat your heart out.

How do I get away with this stuff?

Oh and I woke up and I have a new friend with me. There was a lizard named Liz (really creative) in my dreams and when I woke up there was a chameleon in a cage by my bed. Had a cute little bow and a card that said Liz on it. I'm a little freaked out.

Had another Dream last night. Thought I was done with them, but apparently the universe saw my happiness lately and decided that wouldn't stand. So much pain and so much death. I can't believe Isobel would do that Even one of my best friends betrayed me. Dream Damon was more loyal and honest than Bonnie was. Except for the times he wasn't I'm so done with these dreams.

Sometimes I wonder why I volunteer on my free days at the hospital, then it's the little things that remind me it's worth it. The kind words, the smile on the lips of an old woman who knows she doesn't have much time left and enjoys passing on her stories to anyone who will listen. It's those moments that make me smile.

Despite the fact my house is miles from anyone I have decorated for the first time in over... well a long long time. I guess I felt the pull of the season.

I'm craving non-terminal patient company. How's about we hit up a good exotic food place and mourn the fact it's not as good as in it's native country?

Nothing's more fun than messing around with people at work who're playing Slender. Why yes, I can remotely turn the lights off during scary parts. Muahahahaha. (I do love climate control that's run via PC. Yes, yes, I do.)

I've never heard anyone shriek quite that high pitched. Well. Nobody with boy parts.

With Halloween only three weeks away, I'd like to invite you all to a short revue of classic illusions, escape art, and conjuring tricks on October 31. Some colleagues and I have decided that there's few ways as fantastic as magic to celebrate the occasion, and we've rented out [venue] for the night. It's a small cabaret style setting, with a ten dollar entrance fee, and costumes are more than welcome. It will start at 6:30pm and it looks to be running at just a little more than an hour, so it shouldn't interfere with any other plans.

For those who may not yet know what they're doing, there will be a party in the lounge post-show.

Yesterday I bought a bag of candy to give out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween.

It's half gone now.

I've returned my hair to it's natural blonde. I'll probably bust out the dye in a few months, but for now, the reactions from a certain someone were worth it.

Has anyone ever dreamed of something that holds great significance in their dreams. Beyond their own selves, I mean.

I woke up with a necklace around my neck, and the jewel set within moved whole nations to war. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Ugh, I have no idea what I'm going to be doing for Halloween. Probably just staying home and doing anatomy homework. (No, that's not a joke, assholes.)

There ain't not better feelin' than the few days after a good tussle. Every muscle aches happily. Some days ah think ah was born to brawl - although gotta say, black eyes don't look good on me. Gotta learn ta not get distracted. not gonna lie. it was HARD to NOT get distracted.

Ah suppose ah'll just have to try to behave when Devil's Night rolls around. Good girl like me can't get caught up in all that mischief, right? can't promise that..
