Never imagined when I first got assigned here that I'd love California so much. It's so different from Boston, but I have to admit I really like it out here. I really don't know how I ever lived without In-N-Out.

I can't help hoping they don't reassign us anytime soon.

I guess I should introduce myself since this in my first post to this network. I'm Dyson.

I have to admit, I do enjoy America. Perhaps it's the....shall we say, diversity....present in the United States. The sane and the insane sit next to each other on the train, albeit the number of insane opinions I heard on the train means I won't be taking it again.

In other news, I was accosted by several youths today. They seemed to assume that my age made me an easy target. I wasn't.

I had a meeting today with a new client, and while we were making the requisite small talk she told me about a small dog she was trying to find a home for at a shelter here in the OC. Apparently she couldn't take the dog in herself, but she'd fallen in love with him and didn't want him to live at a shelter forever (fortunately for said dog, it was a no-kill shelter).

So, that's how I ended up going to an animal shelter on my lunch break with Lucy and finding her a companion. Valarnet, Colin. I think he's part papillon, part derp. He's a bit on the senior side, hence his cataracts, but since I have the means to make his twilight years comfortable, I'm going to do so.

... belatedly, I hope Scud doesn't mind another housemate.

I have discovered a hot spring spa in my travels. Which reminds me very much of the baths on Tatooine. I'm doubt I'll be letting them wrap me in mud and cellophane any time soon, but the mineral water is very relaxing.

Do you ever have someone come into your work and then really hope they come in again even though you know you work in a mall food court and that person just doesn't seem the type to frequent the mall at all ever?

That was distressingly specific, wasn't it?

Youth Orchestra/Symphony/Whatever We Are Right Now rehearsal tonight should be a decent enough distraction. I do so enjoy Vivaldi.

If anyone is curious this is what we're working on tonight and have been for the last both too long and not long enough.

I'm having that impending doom feeling again. I hate the impending doom feeling. Especially with the twins coming back.

Hey, it could've been worse. This whole bodyswap thing could've happened during the school year.

I guess after being murdered and all ghostly, not much phases me. No matter how shitty it gets, it can always get way, way shittier.

So today was supposed to be my wedding day but thanks to the obvious situation we've had to postpone the wedding. Thank you to everybody we've contacted, you have all been very understanding. Mac and I are blessed to have you all.

Has anyone ever...found something that didn't belong to them, but you've...dreamed about the item and the person who owned it?

You know, I could imagine being someone else. I'm happy being me, but I think I'd like the...variety.

These dreams are going to quite literally drive me crazy. I can't wake up and feel this way every day, I just can't.

Honestly, this week could've been worse. Rather glad I didn't have to cope with learning how to use the toilet all over again.
