I think I might cry. I've already heard Christmas music. It's still two months away, what are you people doing. No offense to you Americans, I just don't see the point in blasting music for holidays so far in advance. Not to mention that you don't give Thanksgiving a chance. We don't even have Thanksgiving, but if we did, we'd celebrate it properly.

I gave out candy this year for trick or treating though. I always like that part the best. Kids in costumes are cute as long as they're not mine.

On close reflection, the Halloween antics are probably some deep seated reflection of my need to get out there and drag my life out of the rut I've let it get into. So, I'm going to shake it up a little. I've got some time that I should pick up a hobby in for a couple of days a week after work anyway, and I kinda want to explore some of this stuff so...

Circus Camp. I've found a group for adult beginners that starts up pretty soon and meets a couple nights a week. It's interesting and different enough I'm gonna give it a go. It's not exactly running away to join one but it's the kind of compromise that I can go with.

Let's hope I don't fall on my face, yeah?

Um, hi? I guess? I'm new here - I've only lived in the area two months, so I thought this would be a good way to spend the time after work. I kind of miss mass transit now. I'd kill for there to be a tube system here.
