And then Dave's mother, Gladys, came to visit today and asked me how I felt about her being another grandma to me. Mom got pissed when I told her I'd like that if it meant she'd slip me cash in exchange for hugs, but SHE thought it was funny. I think that I am going to like Grandma Gladys from now on. Even though she did mess with my hair, she did give me a twenty after, and is going to teach me how to bake her cookies so that I can surprise my girlfriend with them during finals...I mean shit, I wasn't supposed to say that yet.

Once again I'm grateful that I'm an insomniac, if I wasn't to begin with I think becoming a Professor would have taught me how to become one. I do love the job, I really do but marking is the absolute bane of my existence. Thankfully there's one or two students in my class that actually know what they are talking about it makes it a bit more bearable.

Also I have never understood how you can drink coffee in anything but its natural form - black with nothing added to it.
