Every time I return to this city, it seems another disaster has recently occurred and the city is in worse standing than it was the last time I was brought here. I'm starting to wonder if Asaph just wants me here to help with the clean up and restoration.

You should all know that Mycroft was sent back to his own reality.

I will be taking over his duties at City Hall. Hopefully, everything will continue to run smoothly.

I just thought that everyone should be informed, given his role within the city.

[ Cue Hal's much more panicked breathing because he just woke up in a strange bed next to...someone that wasn't a pillow he may have tossed around at some point during the night or Alex staring at him because, well, she is quite odd and doesn't have much to do seeing as she's a ghost but this is not Honolulu Heights. [The PDA cuts on to the very obvious sounds of Daleks. Between their calls to EXTERMINATE and their weapons, it's difficult to pick up anything else, at first. Then, Parker's voice is heard, much closer to the PDA than the rest of the noise. Clearly, she is not happy.]

What? No! Shoo! Out of my casino, you creepy little things! Go on! Shoo!

[At first, it doesn't seem the Daleks have noticed her, but then a blast from one of their weapons is hear whizzing past. Parker sucks in a sharp breath.]

Okay. Close one. Definitely a close one. [pause] Oh. Crap. I forgot you guys could levitate or float and it's not like the rafters are exactly hidden from view. Bad Parker, for drawing attention to yourself. Bad!

[Her voice trails off as there's the sound of another weapons' blast whizzing past followed immediately by the sound of footsteps against metal, then a grate being opened. When she mutters to herself again, there's quite an echo around her.]

Stupid Daleks, coming into my casino, trying to exterminate my patrons. Ugh. Morgan Freeman, I'm officially mad at you, just so you know. Now I have to take action!

[The sound of another grate opening, then a keypad being pressed. For anyone familiar with the noise, the next to be heard is clearly that of money and other items being shoved into a bag. Parker draws in a breath just as there's a loud crash off in the distance.]

Okay. The safe's cleaned out. Guess it's time to call it a day. [a pause as there's the sound of buttons being pressed again] Good thing I sent everyone home and shut the doors yesterday, or this might get messy.

[The sound of a door opening followed immediately by a loud jolt of electricity. Parker giggles.]

Man, I love my taser-and-lightning gun!

[More footsteps, this time up some stairs, and suddenly there's the sound of wind whipping about. A heartbeat later, there are more laser sounds and the Daleks who are shouting EXTERMINATE are clearly getting closer.]

Really wish I had some awesome last words right now. I guess I should've worked on that.[a pause then, almost perkily] Oh well. Here goes nothing!

[There's a soft beep of a button being pressed and, an instant later, an enormous explosion that was probably heard/felt/spotted from most points in the city as the casino is now nothing more than a smoldering pile of rubble. After that, nothing but silence save for a few sirens randomly going off way in the distance.]

Oooh! There's a new Sumerian exhibit at the museum! Score!

These little spoilers into the future are always interesting. In the year I've been here I've gotten a glimpse of three different futures. In two I was married and in one, I'm pretty sure, I was dating Veronica. She never said for sure, but she pretty much implied that we were together in some way in her future. Wonder what Doc Brown would think about all of this, considering he said it's never good for one to know too much about their own future.

Well, now that I'm the proper version of myself again, I guess it's time to jump into my new role as Chief of Police and spend a couple of hours down at the station going over the current cases.

Okay, this isn't funny. Where the hell did everyone go? JARVIS seems to think they're here, but he can't actually contact any of them. If he sent everyone back without me, there is going to be a fucking show down. I've battled gods before, and I will do it again.

While I have, on occasion, hoped something would happen at my various places of employment so that I could get a day off, but I was never actually serious. Ironically, I enjoy going to work here and I'm actually upset that someone would do this. The only time buildings should be destroyed is when Godzilla is involved or super-heroes are trying to save the city. Otherwise it's just plain rude.

Is everyone else who normally works at City Hall okay? I want a roll call, people.

I'm not sure what happened here while I was away and I'm equally unsure if I want the specifics. If someone could just tell me if I still have something to worry about, and what that something might be in that particular instance, I would appreciate it.

As Mayor Holmes has said, we are going to be enforcing Martial Law until this crisis passes. Some of you might object, but this really is the only way to ensure the general safety of the city. This is an emergency the likes of which we haven't faced before and we need to take this seriously if we have any expectation of getting through this. This is not a situation anyone should take lightly and any rules have been made solely for the safety of the populace.

From this point onward, there will be a mandatory curfew in place between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. People will need to remain in their homes at this time unless they are part of the relief effort or have to be out for work related reasons. People found violating curfew without a valid reason will be taken into police custody for their own safety until the threat has passed.

We are also encouraging everyone to remain in their homes or in designated safe houses unless absolutely necessary even during non-curfew hours. This is not mandatory but it is strongly encouraged. We also suggest that any non-mandatory businesses close until the crisis has passed. While grocery stores, pharmacies and such are necessary in this time, recreational facilities are not. Use your own discretion, but be mindful that the safety of individuals is more important than keeping your business open.

If you need to leave your home, please contact the relief program or the police department to obtain a gas mask. If you need supplies, they can also be delivered if you get in touch with either organization. I cannot stress enough that you should remain in your homes unless absolutely necessary.

I'm formally requesting a list of individuals involved in the relief effort and anyone who wants to take part in rescue operations needs to be involved through the official operations being headed by Mrs. Winchester and Captain Rogers so that your involvement can be vouched for. Otherwise you do risk being detained.

Given the recent events taking place within the city, I have been left with no decision but to declare a state of emergency. As such, martial law is now in effect and will remain as such until the situation has been resolved or, at the very least, general order has been restored.

For any who may have an objection to this decision, know that I did not come by it lightly. However it is also not a decision open for debate nor is it one I feel I am required to justify. I have complete faith in the police department's ability to properly manage the responsibility they are being given and I will not debate whether or not they are capable of such regardless of the reasons for the objections. For now, until further notice, Chief Wuornos has carte blanche to do what he sees fit, as he sees fit to do it, in order to ensure the general security of all who inhabit Colligo.

Anyone who disagrees is welcome to find elsewhere to stay until the recent bout of madness to plague the city has passed. For those who choose to remain in Colligo, thank you for your anticipated cooperation in this manner.

Does anyone now how one would go about moving back into the apartments? I've thought about this quite a lot and I've come to the conclusion that I can't stay in this dorm once the current semester ends. Despite her things being gone, it reminds me too much of Juno. The only reason I have stayed here as long as I have is because of the convenience of being closer to my classes, but next semester I will simply have to deal with either walking, aparating or taking public transportation. Some would say that I could have done that now, but considering how close to finals we are I've preferred to be closer to the library. One could also ask why I simply don't move into another dorm and the answer is, I think I need to spend some time away from campus all together once classes end.

Also, I thought it prudent to remind you of the charity event next Saturday. I know they're terribly boring and you want to kill yourself by the end of the night, but it is a necessary evil.

And the month's lease is up on my place in a few weeks. I was wondering what you think about the possibility of me moving in with you. I've considered the issue carefully and it is a practical option. Work meetings cause me to spend more time at your home than my own and, in Lucy's absence, this place is too big for just me. And, of course, it's far more practical from an economic standpoint.

Also there's the fact that I do have a strong romantic attachment to you, so living together wouldn't be a hardship. I'd even go so far as to say that I love you. And I seem to be under the influence of a compulsion toward honesty, so I may take a few days off work or have Darcy handle communicating with especially trying individuals.

TO THE COLLIGO POLICE DEPARTMENT:

The Zeta Sigma Chi sorority has been attacked. There was one survivor - a local girl named Ariana Porat. She's currently at the hospital, in ICU. The reason you aren't receiving a police report about the attack is because I'm the one who took her to the hospital, rather than calling you from the house. My reason for doing that is because there was a masked man there, wielding a chainsaw, trying to kill us at the time.

The last I saw him, he was at the bottom of the stairs with a large butcher knife sticking out of his chest. Suffice to say, he's probably not there now because this has to be the most clichéd horror movie moment ever in this city so make sure you're careful when you enter the house.

And, of course, to everyone else reading this: Be careful, too.

I tried to stay in the morgue for as long as I could, but there's just no way. It's haunted. Everything's rattling around and there's some little boy that's making cat noises, but then he just vanishes. After I had just cleaned up all of the zombies too.

But I just can't go back in there. I won't.
