Filtered to the Merlin Lot

I've been thinking about home a lot. About Camelot and the forge, and I just cannot keep it to myself anymore.

I am scared about going back.

I do not want to go through all of that, all those things that I remember and I know is going to happen. I do not want to go home and lose Abigail and not even remember she was born. I do not care what the stories say, what people think. I love Camelot but I love my daughter more.

I'm glad the locals have gone back to normal. They've been teaching me to play football...or is it soccer? I'm not sure. They keep calling it different things. It's kind of odd that they hardly remember any of it, but I suppose that's just the way this place is.

Did I really, really overdo it keeping Gwen and me from getting attacked when we went to the store?

Or did something else make it stop? And why did it stop all of a sudden? I was thinking we'd have to do some kind of delegation to the government, or talks with a mediator, or mindwipe everyone otherwise try to get to the bottom of whatever had them so angry.

Not that I'm not glad, but it makes me extremely uneasy, not knowing why.

(If it was me calming things down, um, I guess you're welcome? I thought I was just covering our own immediate vicinity.)

I did not want to tell anyone until I got a yes, but I left my cleaning job. But for a good reason. A local custom bridal shop had an opening for a seamstress, to work under the head seamstress for two months to learn everything they need to know. And after those two months, she's retiring. She needed someone who was willing to learn fast and then could take over as head seamstress and take charge once she left.

And I got it.

She's most willing for Abigail to come with me as I learn since she will sleep a lot of the time, if there are days I can't get someone to take care of her, but after then once I take over I will be able to work from home or go into the building to work, which gives me a lot more freedom. Plus the money is incredible. I don't think I've ever earned how much I'm going to before.

Caden Robert Winchester was born just after 6pm. 21 inches, 7 lbs, 6 ounces. He's got ten perfect little fingers, and ten tiny little toes. He passed his Apgar test, and is resting peacefully. Juno's been a trouper all day, and the reward is just unbelievable. There are not words.

I was thinking that it would be a nice idea to have a picnic in the park. Yes, all of us at once We're all practic family whether you all like it or not.; however, we have yet to gather together all at once. With the improvement in the weather, some fresh air and food will do us well, and would provide an opportune moment to rectify the matter.
