Accidental Voice Post

So, the baby has been moving for a couple weeks now, but of course I seem to miss it every single time it happens. I'm pretty sure everyone else has felt her kick but me. Well that was until a few minutes ago anyway cause she kicked me in the head. I had my head on Bonnie's stomach, complaining about whichever reality show she was making me watch when I was kicked in the head by a tiny foot. Apparently she doesn't agree with me that Bonnie has lousy taste in TV shows.

Voice Post

[There's the sound of a baby screaming in the background and a lot of shuffling around; Meri's voice is echoing slightly and a bit hard to understand through her tears.]

DADDY! MOMMY! SOMEBODY HELP!!! [a shuddering breath]

I din't mean to, honest! I was just trying to put Gabbi in the big bin where the drink cans go so's somebody else could have a baby [there's the banging of something on metal and the baby's screams grow sharper] and then there was all these zombies and I tried t'get her back and I did but then one bit her and now we're in the big trash can and they're banging lots and lots and [she starts crying louder]

She's hurt and bleeding and [Meri shrieks, there's the sound of inhuman moaning, some metal slamming against metal, and the moaning becomes muffled once more as she managed to get the trash can lid shut again. This time when she speaks, Meri is clearly talking to her sister and not directly into the PDA, worry heavy in her tone.]

I'm sorry, Gabbi. Please be okay...

Voice Post - Open to All

[ooc: This is posted a touch early as I'm not sure I'll be around for most of tomorrow until the evening, and this is meant to take place around 10AM or so.]

(For a second or two, there's nothing but the sound of a baby crying. Then Meri can be heard speaking, her tone worried and slightly muffled. In the background, there's a banging sound as though someone is pounding on a door.)

Shh, Gabbi, it'll be okay, you'll see.

(There's a bit of shuffling around, Gabbi's crying becomes a bit less audible and Meri's voice louder as she picks back up the PDA and starts speaking into it.)

Daddy? Daddy, I tried t'call just like you showed me but the phone won't work right and-

(The banging gets louder. Meri raises her voice, both out of fear as well as to be heard over the noise.)

Daddy, mommy sent me and Gabbi and Chomper in here and said t'call and there's these little monsters and they 'lectrotued mommy and the lights all went off and now they're trying to get into the bathroom where me and Chomper and Gabbi are. (She draws in a big breath; there's the sound of wood cracking.)

Daddy, you gots to come home RIGHT NOW cause I only gots four shots and there's least seven of them and-

(The door splinters, there's a clatter as the PDA is dropped followed by an inhuman growl of sorts and a snarl from a baby-sized velociraptor. Then two shots from a shotgun echo over the PDA with Meri's voice, a bit distantly, shouting for something to 'Go on, get OUT of here!')

So... I just closed my hand in the door. And I said ow. Because that's what you're supposed to say when you close your hand in a door.

Only, it didn't actually hurt. Like, at all. So I did it again because, well, apparently I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and it seemed like a good idea at the time ~~and don't you all dare judge me because it's not like anyone ever told me that this was ever a possibility so~~. Anyway. The point is, I did it again, and this time I managed to bust my knuckles. And it still didn't hurt.

And then my busted knuckles healed. Instantly.

Any ideas? Other than 'clearly you're some kind of freak', I mean? ~~Because I pretty much figured that one out on my own, thanks.~~

Right then. I don't know my name or I'd introduce myself, but I do have a few things to say and I'd appreciate you all taking the time to listen up.

I think it's pretty safe to say that nobody knows who they are right now and that the only way any of us are figuring out where we are is by asking other folks who seem to at least know that much. So here's my question.

Does anybody out there know who anybody else might be?

And before you immediately answer with a definite 'no', do us all a favor and take a look around you. I mean really look. Is there anything that you see that might tell you something nobody else has covered yet? Are there pictures or anything of anybody else you've seen posting on this message board thing? Because I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm figuring in a situation like this, there's bound to be strength in numbers. So maybe if we all work together, we can figure a few things out and answer at least a couple of questions.

Come on now, if you think you might have something, speak on up. Don't be shy. Right now, I doubt there's any sort of info that's pointless what with none of us knowing jack squat about much of anything.
