You know, the welcoming committee should learn to be more...welcoming. I really wanted to hang out in a library for about five hours before getting kicked out by giant statues. You should get working on that faceless collecting god. Or rather...Morgan Freeman. Well, it makes sense. With Batman and all. Hey, does this mean I can get a cool ride too?

I can be Batman. [ a laugh ] From what I read I would also like to put in a request while I'm here. No musicals. I don't sing.

Well to everyone here, I'm Dean Weston. I'd say I don't plan on staying here for long but I really doubt I have a choice in this. Might as well find a bar and settle down for now.

Well, at least I have a change of clothes this time. Definitely better than the first time I woke up in the morgue. Not that that's saying much. Also, no need to investigate what happened to me, in case anyone was going to do that. Mostly because it's me and no one should be surprised I wound up here when I had no idea who I was.

Dean, baby, come pick me up? I'd really like to come home now and not think you're some sketchy old guy running some religious cult. That would be awesome.

Lucifer, if you'd bring Meri home, I'd appreciate it. And no, I don't care if she wants to live with you. She doesn't get a vote. Thanks!

So, I finally figured out what this animal is that I apparently own. I wasn't sure what the hell it was at first, because it kind of looks like a kitten, but with weird ears and it walks on two legs so I thought it was some sort of alien creature, which is pretty ridiculous. Anyway, I was looking through the DVDs that are apparently mine and one of them has one of these creatures in it and they're called Mogwais. Apparently there are rules to owning one too. Why would I get a pet that's so high maintenance? Now what do I call it?

Right. This again. I don't remember going to bed with a woman last night, as I'm pretty sure I would if I did. I also seem to have a wedding ring on my finger. Again, unless I was really drunk last night, which is kind of hard for me to do because you know, demon over here, I'd remember getting married. So, it would appear that Freeman doesn't want me to be lonely for Valentine's Day, and decided to give me a new spouse. She's very pretty, and she seems really nice, but no offense to her or anything, not quite my type, there, Freeman. But I guess I appreciate the gesture.

Right, so December is a pretty busy month for us, what with all three kids having birthdays as well as Christmas. And considering it's Colligo, we pretty much know the idea of celebrating the holidays on the actual date in question is just plain dumb. It never works out.

Filtered Away from Children

I hope my grandchildren never become that. I would hope that future that those versions came from is only one of many potential futures that will not actually happen. They, along with the other children who were affected by this recent experiment, deserve to have happy futures and not ones where most of their loved ones have been murdered. They're already growing up in a place where strange things happen all the time, but becoming hardened and filled with thoughts of revenge is not what they should grow up to be. I did my best to protect my daughter from the bad guys when she was growing up and I'll be damned I'm going to let something threaten Meri and Jack's future.

[There is the sound of shuffling around then a gasp of breath before a very young sounding voice calls out, hesitantly.]

Mommy? Where are you? What's this place? Hello? Mommy?

[There's some more shuffling then the voice - a bit muffled due to the distance from the PDA - begins to grow louder and much more frantic sounding. There's some banging, then pounding, then the sound of wood starting to splinter.]

MOMMY! HELP! SOMEBODY'S GOT ME IN A ROOM AND THE DOOR'S TOO BIG AND I CAN'T GET OUT! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!

[Suddenly, there's a creaking of a door opening and the screaming stops. For a moment, there's nothing but silence, then another voice - this one slightly older - speaks.]

Who're you? [a pause and, before the younger girl can answer, the older one suddenly yells]

MOMMY! DADDY! YOU BOTH PROMISED THERE WON'T BE NO MORE LITTLE GIRL BABIES HERE AND THERE'S ONE RIGHT NOW!

[There's footsteps echoing quickly down the hallway, growing closer, and the screaming stops abruptly at the sound of Claire's sharp tone, still thick with sleep.]

Meredith Noa Winchester, what in the world are you doing? Do you have any idea what time it is? So help me, get your- [a pause and a gasp] Holy... honey? Um... honey, it's okay. Don't cry. What's your name? Are you okay?

[There's a soft sniffle then the younger girl speaks]

My name's Emma and I want my mommy! [more sniffling]

[A long pause follows before Claire suddenly exhales sharply. At first, she's merely muttering.] Oh, for the love of Emmy... [Her voice gets louder, definitely no longer half-asleep.]
