By the Maker, this city has certainly changed since I was last here. And while I must say that it is a comfort to see horses and carts rather than automobiles, as they put me ill at ease with their noise and their speed, it is still disconcerting to have everything be so different. Things seem very strange, and the locals are even more put off by my ears than usual.

I am more accustomed to the oddities of this place than I would like to admit, but this is certainly a wholly different change than even I am used to. And it is strange to think that only a few weeks have passed here, when it has been much longer for me.

That was an interesting trip down memory lane. I'll need to repaint my walls. Sketched over all of them with old fashioned designs. Mordred, would you like to help me paint? I was thinking a dark green.

I also bought more books then I could possibly afford. Luckily I got my shop up and running before all this, so I can sell the ones I don't need. I'm going to need help around the shop if anyone is interested. Third Eye Books & Herbs. A knowledge of herbs would be helpful, of course.

Okay! Okay! Stop licking, it tickles! You wanna go on the porch? I got something I'm working on and you can- NO. DON'T EAT THE MACARONI! I NEED THAT! [ There's the sound of paper smacking against something then a yelp from the puppy, followed by another pitiful whine. Bo's tone is Very Stern. ]

I said no. That's for Peter and Chris and I can't tell them their present got eated by the dog. Here. You can have the one I messed up. [ There's a sound of tearing paper then loud crunching, followed by Bo's soft giggle. ]

Silly puppy. Now come on, Colleen! We still gotta finish and I need to paint it and I think I should prob'ly figure out how to get that glue up 'fore it dries...
