Other than sword fighting, I also miss horseback riding. Sometimes I wish we had never left Narnia the first time. I'm looking forward to when I'll be able to spar against Ed again, but I really miss taking a horse out into the woods and riding around for hours.

I talked to some people and I'm going to be starting a self defense class. I know that a lot of people here have powers that really I can't even begin to fathom, but knowing hand to hand combat and basic escape techniques can be a pretty useful thing even if you can bend spoons with your brain. So I'm looking forward to teaching people with any skill level, if you're interested.

The classes are going to be Monday, Wednesday, Friday at the gym, from 10-11 am.

I really hope that if I ever wind up with a roommate, they don't mind paint stains on the floor. I knew I should have put something down under the easel, but I was too lazy. In other news, I finished my first actual painting in months. I hadn't actually painted since before I was brought here. I've mostly been filling sketchpads. I've got a whole stack of them in my room that are completely filled. I need to get a computer with some real good art programs next. I wish I had the one that Brian got me.
