So, I know that a lot has been going on and this might not be the right time for this, but I'm doing it anyway. Elena's birthday is coming up and I was thinking that we could have a small surprise party for her. I've been thinking about this for awhile and while there's a chance that she might not want to celebrate her birthday this year because of the whole vampire thing, I think it would be good for her.

Does anyone want to help me plan something? Caroline, I know you're the big party planner, but I don't know if you're too busy with Damon coming back and Emma and work and all that, but if you have the time then it would be greatly appreciated.

I hope my grandchildren never become that. I would hope that future that those versions came from is only one of many potential futures that will not actually happen. They, along with the other children who were affected by this recent experiment, deserve to have happy futures and not ones where most of their loved ones have been murdered. They're already growing up in a place where strange things happen all the time, but becoming hardened and filled with thoughts of revenge is not what they should grow up to be. I did my best to protect my daughter from the bad guys when she was growing up and I'll be damned I'm going to let something threaten Meri and Jack's future.

Meri asked me why the two of you have been looking at her and Jack strangely. I assume you don't want them to know what happened over the last two weeks, so I simply told her that I'm sure it's nothing and that you probably can't believe how quickly they're growing up.

It appears that Lily was sent home. I'm not entirely sure when, but I tried calling her today to find out that her PDA has been disconnected and when I apparated to her flat, her name was gone from the door. I suppose this is for the best, even if it means that what awaits her back home is death. At least her and James will be together; even if they are dead back home.

Two full moons in one month has left me feeling rather worn out. More so than usual. Although, the Wolfsbane which Willow has brewed for me seems to help with that as well. Normally I am quite useless a few days after the full moon, but I feel almost like myself again this time around. I daresay, her potion may be more potent than Severus'.
