[Annie tries to stay together, and she can heard inhaling deeply as she tries to attract to the attention of the guards.]

[Her tone then becomes slightly more frantic as the guards take hold of her.]

[The door slams shut, and the baby in her arms can be heard quiet. Annie goes to comfort him, her voice still sounding a touch frantic, though she's trying to stay stable for her son.]

Shh...it's going to be okay, Finnick. I promise...Mama's here...she's got you...

Okay...as fun as random kidnappings are, I really need to be getting back home. I have a missing boyfriend to find.

I'll admit, sometimes it's hard not to be jealous of some people here in Colligo, and what they can do. But after seeing what happens when they lose their abilities, I think I'm a little bit happier with the status quo.

Not only does this place suck for making me human, it's also boring as all hell. What's a girl supposed to do to have a little fun around here?

To all the people complaining about losing their powers and such. Please shut up about it. I can't tell you how many times I've lost mine over the years and am kind of glad that they've stayed gone.

You know...I never realized just how much time I saved running through walls or jumping down through the floor instead of having to take the long way.

I can definitely say this experience is giving me one heck of a workout. Not, of course, that that's a bad thing, but I was pretty sure I got enough of a workout already, what with training and stuff.

I guess I just want it to be over already. How often do these things usually last?

Okay. My wife and kid showed up last night, so I've got to start working. So it looks like I'm going to be making that walk to the sea every day and going fishing. People around here like fish, right?
