The last two mornings I've woken up to find Bessie in my bed. It's not that I mind exactly, because she is still rather small, but it is a little surprising to find a dragon curled up at your feet at six in the morning.

Well, things are about to get a whole lot busier for me. Seems like Claire isn't here anymore so I will be running the pie shop, I quit my job at the magic shop, it just wasn't the same without Willow running it. School is going alright, but with running a business it is going to be stress city here for me. But I can balance everything out, I'm great at that.

So dad's gone and I didn't even get to see him before he got sent back.

Sometimes I truly don't understand this place.

It's not that I'm upset, really. I mean...I am, a bit. Of course I am. I miss him. But he's back home with mum and the boys, so it's not all bad. It isn't as though something dreadful has happened to him or I'll never see him again.

I suppose I just would have liked to see him before he went back is all.
