Phillipa, I tried the Skittles you spoke of. I like the yellow ones best. And an older lady gave me a small bag of candy because she thought I was in costume even though I am just in my tunics and robe. There are things called "kisses" and "Reese's Pieces", but I haven't tried the piece-things yet.
I think I need to do more meditating. I haven't felt this unsure about things for a long time. I keep catching myself as I look round for Qui-Gon my Master.
I just had one of the advisers at the University bet me fifty bucks and my phone number that I couldn't find my way to his office without following him. Guess who just made fifty bucks. I'm not sure if this makes me want to come to school sooner or put it off for another term.
I seem to have managed to confine myself to spending the rest of the afternoon making butterbeer. Would anyone else care for some?
And if you don't know what that is I may just have to hug you for not having read those dreadful books, it has a sweet taste similar to that of butterscotch and a very small, very mild alcoholic content. Although I can also make it non-alcoholic if requested; though it doesn't taste quite the same it's still rather good.
Just so you're all aware, I'd give my left kidney for a butterbeer about now. A butterbeer and a chocolate flapjack. But there's no butterbeer here... And the flapjacks are mediocre at best. I could charm better ones out of my arse.
