Well I have an office set up and a business plan in the making. A hundred bucks never went so far.

Now where oh where can I find some minions? Anybody want a job?

So I think most of us didn't really get off on any kind of foot. And I'm not feeling the love here. Where are you handsome types that I can flirt around with? Show yourselves!

I'm (still) Veronica. I'm about to turn 21, and I really like emotionally unavailable hunky dudes.

I type really fast, if that lights your fire.

They really need to put something on TV at night other than horror movies and infomercials. If I see blood and guts or that Shamwow guy one more time, I'm throwing the whole set out the friggin' window.

Bartending? Sucks. Surrounded by alcohol all night, and I can't drink a drop of it during my shift. And then when I'm done with work, I'm too exhausted to even get drunk. So I guess irony kinda sucks, too.

This is not where I was. Chances are that Rose is not going to be happy about this.

On the good side, that means her mother isn't around. Honestly now, who goes and names their child 'Tony'? There's no imagination to that! It's like naming them... David. Or Jack or John. Oh yes, let's name the precious child after a waste receptacle or those that pay ladies for their company. 'Doctor' would have made a much better name. Would have opened up all sorts of conversations.

I wonder if she'll be waiting with that rolling pin thing when I get home. It's going to take me at least a week to make a homing device. Could finish my screwdriver in that time. Who would have thought that a child's toy would make a perfect base to work from?

Now it's just a matter of finding out where I am.

One of the locals -- if you can call them that -- just asked me if I was going to "further my education" by "enrolling for university classes" for the fall.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long, long time.

Something...definitely isn't right here.

Has anyone heard of Umbrella? They have to be behind this, right? Are there zombies here? Anything freakish in the undead or mutated category? That all might sound weird, I know, but I have to ask...

Well, this is certainly an unexpected turn of events. I mean, it's not every day you walk out of a pie shop and land in a library...unless that is something that happens to you every day, in which case your life is a lot more interesting than mine. The suits of armor were a little pushy, but this PDA sure is nice.

And they even give you a place to stay. That's certainly considerate. Most people who abduct you and stick you in a crazy place with pushy suits of armor probably aren't nearly so considerate. But I really wouldn't know, I've never been abducted before. Still, this place is nice. And I probably don't have to deal with people thinking I'm dead. Big plus. And Ned's here too. Yay!

Oh! I'm Charlotte Charles. You can call me Chuck. Hi!

Not that this town isn't swell and lovely and charming in its own creepy taking people from the middle of their already happening lives sort of way, but I think that I can honestly say that I'd like to go back home right now.  The only small comfort I can take in this is that Chuck and Digby came along with me and we were assigned the same apartment.  However it was that we ended up here that is.  How did we end up here?  And who signs people up for apartments to a place that they didn't know they were going to end up in anyway?  I wonder if they know that I can touch people and bring them back to life  Would anyone happen to know any information about where exactly this is place is, what this place is, or how two people and a dog from a pie shop ended up here?

I miss my apartment over the Pie Hole.  Sleeping in unfamiliar places is disconcerting.  And the clock ticks loudly.
