Does anyone know the best tavern in the city? I want beer. And fries in a setting where girls are less likely to come into the building and grind on poles. And if you want to come, I'll buy first round.

I suppose I could time this better, but if I wait for a moment where nothing is happening, I may never get it done. From what I've seen, there are a few children about this place. Considering there doesn't seem to be any formal sort of education system around here, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to volunteer to help me clean up the abandoned school building that's in the city and set up some sort of make shift program?

I haven't looked, but I'm sure that if that building is like the others, it will probably have the sort of things that we need in it. All that we need after that is a few people willing to impart their knowledge.

Well, I guess I'm supposed to be a character in some holos. But thankfully, I en't the only one here that is, so I guess there can be some commiserating or something. Still, seems a little weird. Specially since that other Luke says he picked his name because of me. I wonder if that's some kinda cultural thing. Picking your own name. Maybe I should ask him about it.

Still en't sure it's proper to live in the same place as a princess, so I en't been there, yet. Found some stuff that got junked, though, so I've been working on upgrading this piece of poodoo excuse for a com. I showed up with my toolbelt, but not much else, so my box is gone and most of my precision tools. I've been improvising until I can get new stuff.


I en't never seen so much water in one place in my life. It's cold here, too. I mean, I know other planets got plenty of water, but it's one thing to know it and another thing to see it. I'm so used to the desert this is a little crazy.

It's weird to ask for the day off on the second day of the week and not get read the riot act. The have it texted to my cell phone. No matter how long I remain stuck here I end up staying in this place, I don't think I'll ever totally become used to the pod people.

That said, as I was sitting in my self-designated corner aka redecorating, I realized how much I missed scrapbooking. No, not really. But I miss I do miss my photo collection. Maybe starting another one will keep me distracted. No talent in photography but it's still fun. Almost as fun as hunting down the perfect antique side-table nothing yet.
