That's the last time I rest my eyes for a moment while listening to Andy yammering on. Jack? Ianto? Are either of you actually here? This place is more than a little strange, and quite frankly it gives me the creeps.

Ah, well. There are good days and bad days. At least I'm settled, even if Unohana-taichou and the rest of the fourth division aren't available. I managed with only an apothecary before I joined the academy-- I'm certain I'll survive with only one, now. I'm much older than I was then, as well-- I don't bounce back as quickly. It's been a while since I was in the human world; this is quite a change for me. I believe the last time I was in it extensively, it was to purify Oda Nobunaga, though I could be wrong. He'd become a rather nasty Hollow, and well.. I was feeling rusty.

The world Kurosaki-kun lives in is considerably different, of course. Rather like this one. (I rather like juiceboxes, and convenience stores.)


I'm quite grateful that the sound is back. While normally I appreciate peace and quiet (and that's been rare enough these days in Soul Society), complete silence is a bit much. Especially without Sentarou and Kiyone around to make a fuss if I so much as clear my throat.

Now that we have sound comes the next project: me finding a job.

So does anyone need a Audio/Visual Technician (aka Technical Analyst)? I'm with a unit of FBI profilers so police work would make the most sense.

Ohhh... you know, it is so pleasing to have my voice back. I'll never take the gift of sound for granted ever again. I'd thank God, but it's hard to have a mocking tone over a cyberspace I'm just glad that they didn't succeed in killing myself and the others.
