I have a roommate.

He's a boy.

This so isn't going to go over well.

Alright, this is getting ridiculous.

We have at least four medical types here that I know of, and not one proper hospital. 'Congregate with others of your skill set,' that's the first thing UNIT taught us. Pool our resources and all that. In light of recent events, I propose that we set up, like, a clinic or something. Medical care for the community, that sort of thing. Now that we can get around the city, it seems like a necessity.

So, what do you all think? Sound like a good idea? Doctor, nurses, healers, whatever, care to volunteer? Dr. McCoy, Dr. Tam, Nurse Chapel, I'm looking at you.

So, other than wandering aimlessly, getting lost and wandering aimlessly some more, what is there to do in this weird place?

So... is it just me and Usagi, or did all of the rooms get an upgrade overnight? How is that even possi

So what I want to know is if whoever's in charge can rebuild our rooms overnight without waking any of us why can't they build us a gosh darn beach?

The keys to my Ferrari F430 were in my room this morning. And the car is here.

This entire situation makes absolutely no sense.

To Kaylee

Kaylee,

I am exploring with some other doctors and seeing about setting up a clinic.

Message me if anything comes up. I'll see about getting us something for dinner.

Love,
Simon.

They're all quiet...not chattering. Marionettes can't pull their own strings. He's got the world in his hands and he knows which strings to pull so they dance. His hands aren't blue but that doesn't mean anything. The bad guys don't always wear black and sometimes their hands are clean. That's all false syllogisms. Shouldn't meddle, but people always do. It's quiet. Too quiet. So quiet it rings in my ears and it's so loud. It's a paradox. Quiet can't be loud and it is and it isn't but it is. It's all chaos. Tearing like tiny fingers picking at the threads. It's all going to fall to pieces. Like bits of apples. It's not so black here...but it is. On the edges. I'd much prefer to be back in the other black. Not supposed to wander off alone. Not safe. He says it's not safe. Can't wander off if there's no one to wander from. Inherent paradoxes. No breadcrumbs to follow home. The birds ate them. They'll get stomachaches if they aren't careful.

So-- new world, no explanations, no way out, assigned living quarters, and a city full of strangers?

Sounds about like a Tuesday to me.

I always hated Tuesdays.

I'm Scott Summers, heading in toward the apartments. And I really hope whoever designed the tin cans that greeted me never meets the Trasks.

Y'know, you "future" types (and by the way, you're not the only future people out there, I'm from 2040 which sure as hell isn't anywhere close to being 2009) talk and talk and talk about being able to find a way out of here and it seems to me like you haven't made any progress. You're just like the AD Police back home. Promises of this and that with no results.

Get your asses in gear or don't bother speaking up. Either we're stuck or we're not. Right now, seems a lot like the former and with this room change shit, it doesn't seem like all that bad of a deal. Maybe you should just learn to live with it.

[To Doctor McCoy and Martha]

First, to Doctor McCoy: I would like to extend an olive branch. It is clear that we got off on the wrong foot. I can only blame my extended isolation from civilized world for my behavior.

The issue with Kaylee has been resolved. My fear of memory loss was actually due to her being pulled her from an earlier point in my own time stream than I me. I've been told that where you're from there is precedent for this, but for me, this was my first experience with any form of time travel. I am very close to Kaylee, and I was concerned, and very disoriented, and I took it out on you and your professionalism. For this I am sorry.

Now to the heart of my concerns:

There is something I would like to ask both of you about your skills. I am wondering how much training/experience you have in mental trauma, brain surgery, subliminal triggers/training and - if they have this in your universe, telepathy. Also if you have the tools (or can get them) to do any non-intrusive analysis on any of those fields.

To prevent any potential confusion, these questions have nothing to do with my earlier concerns about Kaylee, or about her in any way.

I need to--

But I can't.

i refuse to. that's not me

It seems like most of you are very intent on getting out of this place. Going back to your old lives.

I kind of like it here. I don't see what's so bad about... a blank slate.
