I'm going to try to look at this entire situation maturely and rationally.

First, the good points about being in this place.

1. I don't have nightmares anymore.
2. I know at least one person from my family is here, so I'm not alone.
3. Exar Kun is not here. (see number one for a better example why this is good)
4. People aren't going on and on and on about Star Wars.
5. The government isn't trying to hunt us all down just for being different.

Now for the bad points.

THE LOCALS ARE ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT AND COMPLETE MORONS. I HAVE MET DROIDS IN NEED OF COMPLETE SYSTEM RESTRUCTURING WHO ARE CAPABLE OF HOLDING MORE INTELLIGENT CONVERSATIONS!

Let's see. Did I forget anything else? If so, feel free to let me know. Currently, though, the bad points are winning. Quality (or lack thereof, in this case) outweighs quantity after all.

I'm sure this has been asked, already, but I would rather not skip over an opportunity to possibly get the information I need out of a fear of being repetitive.

Does anyone know what's going on here or how to get back to where we came from?

Finding myself in a strange place and being manhandled by things that don't seem to dent when damage is done to them ain't a great time...
