Was at Walmart today grabbing a couple things for dinner and overheard two people arguing about their costumes. Apparently one of them had gone as the same thing for four years in a row.
And it made me start thinking. Those of you who dress up, what's your favorite costume you've ever worn?
While listening to the radio and working out, I heard how the day after Halloween the station will be just Christmas music. I got nothing against it, but two freaking months of just that. Definitely will be listening to other things until the new year because not only is that not work out music. But I will lose my mind just hearing that.
I enjoy this time of the year with all the holidays and being able to bake different things for it. At least it's baking for fun and to share and not just stress baking or cooking like in the past.

I know that this is unusual for us, but would you come with me to the film thing that they are having? I'm curious to see how all of this works and you never know what one might find.

I don't spend a lot of time watching television, but sometimes when a movie comes on I haven't seen in a long time, I can't help myself. Hitchcock's The Birds was on, and I couldn't help but stop to watch it. Suddenly, an hour had gone by. Funny how these things happen, isn't it?
Anyone else have a seasonal favorite film they can't help but watch when it comes up?
I believe that this is the first time that I have actively, in all my years, ever gone out on Halloween. Judith, however, is excited for it and I would do anything for that little girl.
A classic masquerade complete with art deco style decorations, fancy food and drink, and dancing. Please let me know if I need to lock. Posted a day early to give people time to tag in!

For anyone who is interested, the local fire stations are having 'Fire Truck or Treat' at all the stations this Saturday, from noon until 7pm. We'll also be giving tours of the stations, and handing out the annual smoke detectors and batteries for the smoke detectors.
And, as a reminder, after the incident that happened two years ago, it will be group tours only. No more private tours. The captain doesn't want to have to replace the bathrooms again.
Alright everyone. The movie marathon is going to be here before we know it. The abandoned building looks AMAZING. I just want to thank everyone that has been helping out. I really don't think I could pull this one off without you guys. I am putting the finishing touches on things and tomorrow I will be working on the movie list. Lots of fun will be had. Don't forget to wear a costume if you'd like as in the middle of the movie marathon I will have a costume contest with a fabulous prize.
Halloween is still foreign to me. Ancient China did not have Halloween. We had the Ghost Festival though that is not in October. Being here I have observed many American holidays that I am slowly getting used to.
Would anyone like to go to the haunted house tonight? Maybe grab some food before or after? I haven't been to one in a while and tis the spooky season!

Well, that was certainly not the way I'd expected to spend my day.
I am thrilled -- and a little thrown -- to announce that Rachel Illyana Coulson decided to make her entrance into the world just a little bit early, arriving at 7:30 this evening. Mother and baby are both doing well.
Who: Alyssa & Brooke What: dancing and drinking When: Saturday evening Where: Pandemonium Rating: Just say slightly medium-ish because of these two and their mouths lol.
[Peter Parker] Okay, I give up. When you get home, can you help me with my costume? I decided I'd surprise Sweeney by being a faerie or maybe it's an Elf? I'm not sure, but I can't figure out these ears to save me.
Managed to find a costume for all the Halloween festivities. Have to say that I look absolutely ridiculous, but it’s going to be fun. I’m looking forward to meeting some people and not having to worry about my family.
It appears our main theatre stages have been taken over by Broadway! Beetlejuice and The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Sweeney Todd) are both playing for a limited run! Matinees too!
Daisy, is your offer still open to borrow those bracelets of yours? I'm having to concentrate harder to remain solid and not open myself up to the other nifty powers I have. I don't want to affect the baby in any way.
