I was talking to one of the department managers about something, she was trying to get her handheld scanner to stop dying on her -- seriously, those things have been at the store since forever -- and this customer comes up to us, gets our attention so she could ask a question.

Okay, cool. I'm with them on that because answering questions is a good part of my job. She lost me at the question, though. "Do you work here?"

To which I promptly responded "Nah, I just wear the uniform for fun."

I absolutely am in love with learning more and more about music each day. It really does help to relax a person. Just the other day. What I love is that people can use what they are called headphones and simply listen to music within themselves. I used it the other day and just sat on the grass in the park with a good book and a picnic, it was quite the perfect lovely day.
