I'm used to people not knowing what they're doing with an axe. I'm used to people doing stupid shit with an axe. What will never stop surprising me, though, are those special people who somehow manage to get the handle embedded in the target and not the blade.

Like the guy today who got it in there so deeply it took me five minutes to work it out. That's some kind of impressive right there.

A little over a month until Thanksgiving - and I have to admit, I started early this year in making sure the freezers are stocked for a celebration. I have discovered that I have a really bad habit of showing up here with broken bones - people who knew me before, is this really a thing for me? Cause yikes. I mean it is for me back home, too, I think I've broken something every year for the past... like five years.

I really do live a strange life.

Being here is strange. I just fixed my marriage back home and missing that bond hurts like no one's business but I can't go home, so, I just have to be like a good Coyote and adapt. Having a place to stay again is kind of nice, though I could do without the nightmares. Dealing with the fae's monsters always tends to leave them behind, I swear I could do without that.

Anyway. I heard people like my brownies and I've made about six batches because a: I'm bored, b: I can't do much else and c: i'm stressed. Who wants to come get some?
