I went out for some tea and everything is called Pumpkin spice. I tried it and it's not bad, I just don't know why everything needs the flavor added to it. While I'm thinking about it, if anyone knows a place I could get some decent Oolong, I would appreciate the help.

Also, this Halloween thing is - um - special. Dressing up like spirits is a long-time tradition, I get that, but I've never seen whole shops dedicated to this sort of thing.

Avoid getting the fish at the grocery store.

First they refused to part with a few hundred pounds of the stuff. Then when I ate the 'fresh' fish that I was given, it tasted bad and made me quite ill for a little while.

At first I thought it was simply because the fish was cold from being in that glass display storage thing, but after gulping down a few pounds of the stuff I knew it clearly must have been off or something.

[Anyone with Superpowers or Supernatural Abilities]

Hey. I was having a conversation a week or so back and thought we should include a larger number of people.

The main thing we were talking about was what would happen if, for example, Jedikiah was left here after Stephen and I were sent home. More broadly - if a person who is a potential source of danger to supernaturals remains after the people from their world have been sent home. Or if someone of danger were to show up on their own. I was thinking that we should get together and share our experiences with those who are a danger to us back home and somehow come up with a line of defense.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but knowing what Jedikiah's done back home, I can't entirely relax knowing he's here.

I know there are a lot of holidays and exciting things in May for most people around here. This year there's something for the local Muslims, too.

This place just does not have enough alcohol to actually get drunk on. Some days I wish Sigrun could perfect her recipe for the drinks of home. Until then, I simply mourn the lack of good alcohol.
