I know that some of us are not going public with our abilities and such, and so I wanted to ask before I move forward with an idea of mine.

There is apparently a big dance coming up - something called a Prom - and I would like to offer my help with hair and make-up as a chance to make some extra money and to have something to do.

Would anyone be opposed to this? I will, of course, say nothing of what anyone else can do, or even that anyone else can do anything.

I have been informed that I am not having a fevered dream from an illness I had been recovering from back home. This place, Madison Valley, is strange and I do not understand much of it.

I was told to introduce myself. My name is Marianne Dashwood.

Today I went to the market to get some ingredients for dinner.

I have never seen such a huge marketplace! And so many foods that I can't identify. I bought one called a 'pineapple' on a whim, but I have no idea how to eat the thing.

I think it will be years before I can even start to fully understand this place.
