This is certainly unexpected, and believe me, where I come from, being surprised by anything takes a pretty big deal these days. But you know, a trip to the corner shop via small-town America has certainly topped George's slightly spicier variation on risotto for things I didn't expect to happen this week.

And far be it from me appear too ungrateful for having various electronic devices, money and a new apartment key thrust into my hands, but I can't say I'm entirely okay with this Oprah Winfrey style welcome. Abduction whilst cheerfully proclaiming and you get a car is still bloody, abduction.
