I went for a walk around town today. From one end to the other and back again!

It's the longest walk I've taken since I arrived here; I must truly be getting better. It's been a long road of healing, but I'm glad that it seems that the doctors and healers were right - I will make a full recovery.

So starting on the 12th of this month is the Roman Festival of Cerialia. It's a celebration of Ceres, the Goddess of Agriculture.

Since it'll be hard to do anything on the 12th, I was thinking that we could have a get-together at the boarding house for anyone interested. We'll have all sorts of food made out of grains and don't worry, we won't be sacrificing anything.

Anyone want to help me get ready for it? I know it's the day before Easter, but there's nothing wrong with having two celebrations in a weekend, is it? Plus, not everyone here celebrates Easter.

While it seems that everyone is on the subject of gatherings:

I've recently come to learn about something called a murder mystery party. It seems to be something of a staged murder scene that participants are then challenged to solve, to bring the fictional murderer to justice, as it were. It seems to be a good bit of fun, and an excellent use of skills for both trained detectives, training detectives, and clever civilians.

I'd thought, perhaps, to organize one such dinner event.

I don't suppose there would be any interest?

I'm so excited that Spring is just around the corner. I think I'm going to plant a small box of flowers and decorate the store for Spring. And try out some new flavors for gelato.

There are so many books here! I do not know what to do with them all! I have found the library a much more... appropriate place to borrow books from, the stores seem to be expensive. And I have figured out that the money gifted to me does not go far, so I have already begun to budget that.

I have also decided the clothing of today is not something I quite like and have purchased some fabric to begin making some new clothes for myself. Does anyone need any mending or such? I have learned I will need work, so I am thinking I will offer that for the moment.
