Sooooo, I'm sure you've both noticed that I haven't been sleeping at our place as much lately. Carl moved into the loft apartment in the barn on the farm property and... he asked me to move in with him. I've been staying there so we could kind of... test it out and it's going well so I'm going to move in with him.

I'll still visit all the time and you guys can come out to the farm whenever.

Still haven't gotten completely used to the quiet at night. Reminds me a lot of growing up in Paramus, but after living in New York for so long, I just got used to the constant noise. Almost asked the lady at Walmart today if there was a white noise machine in stock that had a siren setting (police or ambulance, doesn't matter) or something akin to "angry group of drunken loiters in the hallway of your apartment building".

Alas, it wasn't meant to be.
