So, Pepper and I have been working really hard but I think enough is in place that we can finally tell everyone! Fortunately I didn't miss

On December 1st, we're hosting a Winter Festival! I had originally wanted Fall but it was way too late to start planning and besides, WINTER! And considering the weather here, we might even get snow.

We're gonna have sleigh rides down Main Street and everyone there is going to decorate. A lot of the local businesses pitched in and we have raffle prizes and I'm not 100% sure which, yet, but all the proceeds are going to go to charity. There's a hot cocoa bar and a singalong around a fire and possibly even a visit from everyone's favorite fat guy with toys.

I'd love to get everyone involved, half the fun is community after all. We'll need help decorating, some vendors, music, everything! And of course we'll rotate shifts so everyone still has time to enjoy it.

Also still accepting ideas for at least a week, but you know, we need time to put it all together!

I went out for some tea and everything is called Pumpkin spice. I tried it and it's not bad, I just don't know why everything needs the flavor added to it. While I'm thinking about it, if anyone knows a place I could get some decent Oolong, I would appreciate the help.

Also, this Halloween thing is - um - special. Dressing up like spirits is a long-time tradition, I get that, but I've never seen whole shops dedicated to this sort of thing.

Hi. Some of you know me, some of you probably don't. My name's Allison and I've been here for a while.

This is probably kinda weird but you guys are the only superpowered people I know here and I figured it was easier talking to a group of you instead of one-on-one and I don't want to make some huge public post because I don't want to start any kind of witch hunt.

My brothers and sister and I all have powers of our own, but my sister is special. Like....really superpowered. And it's all tied to her emotions. One really angry spell and we could literally lose everything. I just got back from a near Apocalypse and I'd kind of like to not have a repeat. She never learned to control her gifts because our father has the patience of a two year-old but she could, I know she could, and she could be really helpful if there was ever a need but she'd need to be taught to.

Do any of you have any kind of experience with that? Training and refining powers? Or just, managing emotion based powers? I don't want her back on sedatives, they literally ruined her life, but I also don't want her afraid to leave the house because she's afraid to talk to anyone.
