Had a woman come in this morning, place her order, politely wait to the side... only to start screaming almost unintelligibly when her drink took longer than ten seconds to make.

I just stood there, staring at her and letting her go off. First pause she took, I picked up a knife, started twirling it, looked at her and went "Done yet?"

AND SHE SAID NO.

She yelled some more.

I slammed the knife into the counter. "Done yet?"

I used to hate this time of year because it reminded me of how much I never had. My perspective is completely different now, as an adult. I might not have had a stable home when I was a kid, but I had my brother. Now I have both my brothers, and my mom in my life. A wonderful woman whom I love dearly, and more friends than I can shake a stick at. I'm grateful for every one of you.
