It's Christmas and that has me missing home a bit more than usual. I was thinking of trying my hand at making some tamales, but that's always been something that involved the whole family.

Is that something y'all would be interested in? We can pick a day and I'll get everything we need to make them, everyone can come over and we'll make a party of putting them together. Just a thought.

I don't know where we are, but I'm pretty sure it's not earth. Or not the earth we left. The binary star system is a big clue, obviously.

But I flew around the world and never encountered the dome. That's not so surprising now that I've heard that it's possible to fly in a spaceship to the moon, where there's an amusement park. So the dome, if it still exists, must encompass the earth and moon. We have the run of the planet (and the moon) now.

On the other hand, I also didn't see any evidence of other people--humans or otherwise--during my flight. No roads, no buildings, no aircraft anywhere outside of Madison. So we appear to be alone on this rock.

Does anyone else have anything to share with the class?
