Tobias was trying to get some familiar ground here in Madison. He needed something that was familiar and safe, not just for him but for Tris as well. He'd found a cave, one that went down into the ground and he'd been taking things there slowly. He felt more at ease there, it reminded him of Dauntless caves. The place he had finally felt free from everything. That had been home and with the shake-up from where he was from plus ending up here, he needed security. Sure it may seem weak, perhaps even unDauntless yet he was a little of every faction. Divergent, maybe this was just simply a Divergent thing to do.

Now however he was out, moving through the trees gathering some things he knew they could rat. With not giving blood, well there was no job and he was managing by buying a bare minimum and searching for everything else. He heard a sound and feared it was the council coming for him so he crouched down and waited, but not without a twig snapping and falling to the ground. He watched the man come into view, it wasn't someone he knew, or even seen yet. Not that he knew of anyway, it was hard to see from this vantage point.

Are you guys compelling people to do things - either to let you feed from or to get other things from them?

I'm asking because I've not heard anyone asking for blood bags, and I've also not heard any locals complaining. You've got to be getting your blood somewhere.

Klaus, you can't be serious. Marley is just a kid! You can no more be her guardian than I can fly under my own power.

Ok, so I gave it a try, but my foster parents and I don't really see eye to eye on.. well, on anything. However, they did say that they wouldn't fight me if I found another guardian among our own group that would be suitable. I think the dad is kind of afraid that if he fights me on it, someone scarier than him will step in.

I'm fifteen, almost sixteen and attend the high school. I like to sing and I just won the female lead in the school musical, so I'll probably be at school rehearsals and practicing with the male lead a lot for the next little while. I can try to get a part time job if that would help.

Hey guys! This is the official Halloween party thread. You may tag into it ICly and interact with each other, or you may tag it OOC and just tell us what your character(s) did or are doing for the night. The hall was officially decorated by Caroline, there's food with the appropriate Halloween themes, music and general entertainment. Justine did also add in a gaudy Halloween sign that says 'Happy Birthday Harry' and there will be cake. There is a costume contest, I don't know how you guys want to decide who won that, but go for it and have fun! Justine is also personally greeting everyone and handing out bags of assorted candy.
