I was always a theatre kid. I'm not built for it, but it was a passion in high school. Blake and I were always pretty much inseparable on stage. But I wanted him to succeed way more than I wanted to do so for myself.
I remember finding ways into Broadway shows all through school and after. Last night? Last night really, really reminded me why I fell in love with the whole theatre world. You can take a classic like Jesus Christ Superstar and make it something
fresh while keeping it on point. The theatre is so adaptable for the ages.
It was a hit when it opened and they really kicked it up a notch last night.
And maybe, I can't stop singing songs from it today.
