Hanukkah starts tomorrow at sundown. Nina will expect to celebrate but I haven't really for so many years I hadn't even thought about it. I don't even know if we were raising her to all the traditions. Knowing myself I doubt it but she knows enough I can't skip it.

I could have sworn I'd seen everything. Coyote as my father. Growing up with the Marrock [think King of the Werewolves, head of all the alphas] as basically my father (that poor fucker), Fae on my ass every six weeks, vampires trying to ruin my life, old spirits wrecking my weekends.

Coming home to see turkey bones laid out on a table being reassembled with sinew is now ranking on the top five "what the fuck did I just walk in on moments" in my life. Thanks, Jaime. Living with a Necromancer is never boring.

It appears there is another portal in town. I ended up in this strange town by accident, but it was a fascinating place. Full of supernatural creatures and shops. They have potion ingredients that I haven't found here in Madison Valley so I plan to return. I found the portal near the Starbucks.

So, on Sunday, we're going to try and have a Cauldrons and Cupcakes meeting for anyone who is a magic practitioner. Hopefully this will be the first of many. I got enough interest to revive movie in the park nights so I'm moving forward with it.

The first one will be happening on Sunday the 29th with a classic horror theme*. The movies showing are: Little Shop of Horrors, Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Blair Witch Project. ( Note: The first one will not be the musical ). Time TBD.

Hot chocolate and popcorn will be provided and there may be a small bonfire if I can get it approved. Instead of chairs, there will be blankets and pillows to lounge on. I will be taking donations for pillows and blankets until the 27th. You can bring them by the tattoo place anytime between now and then. I will put them to good use for future movie in the park nights. Every donation gets a 10% coupon for your next tattoo.

* I would not recommend bringing any little ones to this one but never fear, I'll plan one just for them in the future.
