I have learned such networks are often places to complain. Allow me that moment, I suppose. I am well suited for my job here. I love it.

But I am increasingly learning that people who choose to hunt, truly have no understanding of it beyond a trophy for a wall. Perhaps it is because I was an animal first, not a human, that I have different views on such things.

I suppose I am strange.

While that was useful, it was incredibly taxing too. Thank you to all of those I met this past weekend. It was a good weekend in that I also found employment that works with my particular skills. It is wonderful.

I have never felt so confused in my life. I never knew human events like this were so exhausting. I do not think many will wish to make further conversation. I suppose being honest about what I was was not the way to go?

After this weekend, I feel the need to show my gratitude to you and your mother for being kind to me. I know that... it is strange to befriend someone who is, quite literally, the opposite that you are. A proper thank you is in order. As I have found employment, I have access to much more well-fed deer. I am bringing home one as part of my payment from this employment, I was wondering if I could bring by a nicely butchered backstrap and steaks?

We will have a full dress rehearsal (minus clothing, hair and makeup) on the 27 - same time, same place! Be prepared to be there! We need to make sure we are running on time that day.

I have found a simple joy in reading. I never was big on it back home - spending most of my time as a wolf meant life was just simpler. With my determination to spend more time as human here, I've begun to explore many new aspects of my life.

Sometimes I forgot as a two legged creature I do not have the exact balance as I do in my natural form. I have misjudged. The cool water feels good while the aches are soothed, but I fear I may require stitches. I heal much faster than humans but I believe they are still necessary.

Alright. I will eventually get this down, but I really do need to find my footing here. I am tired of the awkward and the fact I spend more time in the woods than is probably healthy. November is a time for friends and family, and while I cannot cook very well, I am willing to bring fresh meat to anyone who doesn't mind a slightly socially awkward person at their Thanksgiving table.

And no, Harry, I do not trust you cooking a Thanksgiving dinner.
