This is definitely a magical time of the year. Christmas is by far my favorite holiday, all the Christmas baking, I got my tree up, the lights on the house, and my fireplace mantle is decorated very nicely. I have baked some nice sugar cookies already with some hot chocolate and a Christmas movie.

Thank you to the people that have cleared their schedules to help me with putting up the haunted house and helping with decorating. It is going to be a very fun night of the marathon this weekend. Don't forget to wear your costumes, tickets will be sold at the entryway, the morning until the mid afternoon the haunted house to get into the marathon will be very kid friendly and will have family movies playing. Then at around 4:00, the haunted house will be more scary and we will be playing all the scary movies. So come and enjoy fun food, prizes will be given out for best costume, and of course there will be games in case that you don't want to sit for all the movies. Can't wait to see everyone.

I think I got a good head start for this Halloween movie marathon. Will be using the same building as last year. As usual, I will have sort of a kid friendly fun house for the morning until mid afternoon then late afternoon until late at night will be the haunted house portion. I'm always looking for a nice list of movies that are both family friendly and scary.....then I will work my magic to create a list. Don't worry, you all will have plenty of time to figure it out.
