Brian was still a bit broody over the fact there was a lack of room for racing in this town. That and the fact they were apparently trapped here, and they required blood samples to get work. He felt like he was trapped in some fucked up horror flick he couldn't escape.

Hey at least he had Mia here, or hell maybe that was a curse too. That just meant she was trapped in this hellhole too. He walked into the apartment they shared and looked around for Mia.

"Babe? You here?"

He set down a bag of groceries and began putting them away. Thank god they at least had Corona in this place. He put the case in the fridge with the food. He glanced up when he heard her come into the kitchen.

"Hey baby."

Babe this place is seriously crazy. I can't get a job unless I submit to blood tests.

I'm a damn good Registered Nurse and was working my way to being a doctor. However, I was informed that the hospital won't hire me unless I allow them to take samples of my blood and submit them to the Town Council.

This place is not conducive to racing.
