I invited her to stay with us again and she's accepted. She'll probably be here sometime later. Apparently someone else from her world showed up, too and she went to see him first.

Caroline, I know you don't remember her from last time, but are you okay with her being here?

Klaus, you can't be serious. Marley is just a kid! You can no more be her guardian than I can fly under my own power.

This wasn't the Mystic Grill, but it would have to do. He needed some sort of place he could go, mix in with the crowd. Luckily he already fed, so that wouldn't be an issue. No tonight, he was simply a man out to have a few drinks. His drink of choice as always was whiskey. He liked the slow burn of it, and it did help to appease some of his bloodlust. However if he had been hungry, well not even all the whiskey the bar had would satiate that.

He turned and looked around, studying the people here. Trying to discern those who were dangerous and who weren't. It wasn't like he was going to go vamp out in the middle of the bar, but it was something he was always wondering when he was out and about moving through the town.

When I said I would leave town, this isn't what I had in mind.

Am I alone here?

So there are a lot of us here now.

And there's been a great deal of focus on our differences, the things we don't like about each other, the things we fear about each other and the council.

But what there hasn't been is much discussion about things we may have in common. Things we may have in common include missing people or things from back home. Here's my challenge to you: what do you miss most about home?

I miss my mother.

I just LOVE when new people suddenly show up here and make generalized threats toward the supernatural population, most of whom they don't even know and haven't caused trouble, and assume that all the humans here are perfectly innocent and incapable of just as much damage.
