Shuri and I spent the night working with anyone we could get in touch with -Thanks especially to The Doctor and Jemma for their help and support.- trying to figure out a way to address a situation outside the realm of my experience.
It seems as if our people are being targeted by some kind of organism of alien origins. The thing consumes them in a living pod and keeps them alive while a 'copy' of them is sent out into the town to masquerade as our people. The pod reacts to stimulation. Fire seems to be the best way to get through it.
I don't have all the answers. As far as I know? No one here has all the answers.
We need to figure out a way to fix this though. For our people. For ourselves.
If you think someone you know might be affected, chime in. If we get an idea of how widespread this thing is, we can better determine how to plan our attack against it. I'm thinking this is an 'All hands on deck!' kind of situation.
