I'd like to kind of get things as back to normal as possible. So Food Club is still happening this month. Next Saturday evening. Bruce, Natasha, are you guys still up for hosting? I can absolutely make other arrangements if we need to.

Everyone bring a dish or at least some kind of appetizer or dessert from Walmart. Bring one of those boxes of tacos from Taco Bell, I don't care, just bring something you'd love to share with others and come out.

So I think I'm taking my brother in as his guardian. But if any of you come over, he's really just a roommate in a smaller body, don't judge my parenting skills by the 13 year old drinking whiskey and black coffee. Weird story, I'll explain if you need it. But it does involve moving to one of the two room apartments so I guess just be ready for that.

So I guess Madison Valley wasn't quite done with me. Nice of it to not mess with my stuff, that's helpful.

I don't suppose anyone's hiring for like, office help or anything? Not phones. Definitely not phones. Customer service probably won't work out for a while either. The theater is being really cool about letting me help with sets and costumes and all but it feels wrong being there.

Okay, everyone! Saturday! Food Club! At the park!

...okay, I'll stop with the exclamation points now.

We'll meet at the park in the apparently comfortable but slightly frigid ice shelter provided by ACTUAL DISNEY QUEEN Elsa. If you can, try to bring something a little different than you did the last time so we can keep things fresh. It'll be way more fun that way, I think.

If we get good at this, we could even start doing themes, but let's not get carried away.

And those of you who didn't want to bring food last time but still wanted to come snack, we could always use plates, cups, and drinks. Feel free to bring some of those along!

Sooooooo the last Food Club (we really need a name, guys) went really really well. I'd love to do it again, BUT do we have any other volunteers willing to host? It'll be cooling off soon enough and we could maybe do the park in October but it is still hot as hell outside (Lucifer, demon brigade, you guys can back me up on that right?) and I don't want to eat anyone's delicious but hot food out in this humidity.

August 3rd! The first official Foodies Club gathering. (Name can always be changed, seriously, don't let me name things. Children, yes, things, no.)

Ella, are you still able and willing to host? If so, we'll all be meeting at Ella McCree's. Bring a dish that you enjoy and would love to share with others. No, you don't have to cook it yourself, but I'm sure if you wanted to but don't know how, there are plenty of people here who could help. Can be appetizer, entrée, or dessert worthy! I just want to make sure we're not having 20 desserts which may or may not have happened the last time I tried to hold a potluck.

So I had an idea during the cruise and I'm kind of piecing it together and if anyone is interested please let me know and if you think it's ridiculous and stupid...please let me know but gently because I'll probably cry.

I've noticed so many different cultures and people enjoying the foods from the different places we're all from. So I'm proposing a Foodies Club! ...okay, we can change the name. But I'm thinking like once a month, someone hosts. Everyone can bring a dish they enjoy and want others to try. We can rotate out who hosts and who brings what but I thought it might be fun to share and try new things. Plus it might help other new people here make some friends.

OR you could just be like "Allison, sweetie, that's nice and all, but no..."
