Bellamy has strung lights along the path that leads to a place in the woods where he's decorated a bunch of trees. In the middle, in a clearing, is a large bonfire - the only place in the area not covered in snow. Bellamy's not much of a party guy, but there's a table with some drinks - hot chocolate, coffee, tea, hot cider, and some cookies and chips from the store. The fire will be going all night, so people are welcome to stay as long as they like.

I went to a costume shop yesterday. There sure are a lot of costumes based on my world.

I don't get why people want to dress up as Darth Vader, though.

And how could people make costumes based off my sister when she was Jabba's prisoner? They should realize what she went through in that costume. The other one isn't so bad, with the hair buns and white dress, although I'm not sure how she'd react.

It was tempting to dress up as my brother-in-law, but if word ever got to him about it, he'd never quit teasing me. Neither would my wife, probably.

People sure do put a lot of work into the costumes they wear for Halloween. It's very interesting.

I miss Dog. He was a good dog. And yes, his name was Dog. Terribly unoriginal. I was eleven when he came to me. What can I say? I rather lacked imagination.

In any case, I think I might go to the shelter and adopt a companion.

The best part of autumn, besides Halloween of course, is the fact muscadines are in season. I'm hoping one of the stores will get some in, I know it's a stretch but... they might be my favorite grape and I really miss them.
