In just a few days, I'll have been here four years.

I almost can't believe it. But it's true. Just a little less than four years ago I met Adam at Speed Dating. Katie was born the next June.

Things haven't always been perfect here, but really, this place has been a dream come true. Even the little things that have gone wrong are nothing compared to what I escaped back home.

I would like to offer a more formal introduction.

My name is Ana Amari. I am from a time quite far from here, though I can assure you that I know nothing of your futures lest you worked closely with Overwatch.

My friend, Jesse McCree, has been nice enough to fill in some missing details regarding this place. This is quite something and most impressive that so many have come to live together in such a peaceful manner.

I noticed an announcement for an upcoming New Year's Eve gathering. While I am new and understand hesitation and concern, I would like to offer my care to those couples with children should you need an evening out. I have a daughter of my own back home who continues to grow into a magnificent young lady if a bit on the cheeky side.

Then again, what child isn't regardless of their age?

Hi, I was wondering if someone out there might be willing to see Katie on a somewhat regular basis. I know a lot of you have been very kind about helping us understand our daughter's powers, but I was hoping that maybe we could find someone who would be willing to meet with her...weekly, maybe, and help her to learn to control them and know when to and when not to use them. I don't want people giving her a hard time when she gets older, or her getting herself in trouble.

We don't have a lot of money, but I would be willing to pay for your time, as much as we are able.

The street has been closed off for the music festival. People have brought their blankets and claimed prime places by the stage. It's a lovely fall day, the weather's cool but not cold, and there's a lot of sunshine to make things that much more pleasant. Beth and her helpers have decorated the stage and the area around it with pumpkins and scarecrows and and autumn harvest theme. Food trucks line the street selling every conceivable cuisine.

If you haven't yet signed up to perform, you still can. The music will start at noon and will go until Midnight, come find a place and enjoy a beautiful day of music by the river!

Did I mention I hate halloween?

Is it strange that the portal with the more 'monstrous' looking guests are more polite than the human world? I actually took my daughter trick or treating here, and when we passed by this one house, this one asshole actually jumped from the bushes to scare her as well as some other kids.

Congratulations, you scared a toddler and a bunch of kinder-gardeners, you're a real tough guy.

He didn't find it so funny when Cassie turned to a wolf and chased him down the block. She only tackled him, I would've done worse.

The only good thing that came from yesterday evening was the sugar crash from just three pieces of Candy. Finally, a night without any fights over bedtime.

Taking Katie to the fair was terrifying. I was scared the whole time that someone was going to snatch her away or that she'd run away and get hurt.

It's a good way to give support to new and expecting parents and for those of us with kids to find someone we can share all our cute baby stories with.

Finch has rented a very nice shelter area at the park. There's plenty of room for eating and a playground for the children when they get bored. She's brought hamburgers and hotdogs for all, but hopefully everyone else will bring a dish as well. She's looking forward to the gathering, and has been ever since she read about family reunions in the newspaper. They're not a family, exactly, but in a lot of ways, they're close enough.

Hi! I just wanted to let everyone know that the gathering...the reunion, if you will, that I spoke of the other day is on! I have managed to book the shelter area at the park for tomorrow afternoon.
