[Baby Checklist]

Decide whether or not it is positive or detrimental to have a child sleep in the same bed with its parents as an infant. There is research supporting both viewpoints.
1. If decision is to allow it, then crib will not be necessary, at least in the short term.
2. If decision is not to allow it, then two separate cribs, or twin cribs will be necessary.
  1. This is one option.
Babyproofing the house is unnecessary in the short term. The infants will not be able to walk unaided for at least eighteen months.
Nursery must be painted and decorated. I am fond of a design somewhat like this, without the hipster names.
Shopping List:
1. Diapers. Cloth or disposable?
2. Clothing. It is said that infants can go through at least three outfits a day, so we must plan accordingly.
3. Toys. Soft, with no parts that could detach and choke the child.
4. Nursing supplies.
5. Blankets and pillows. Hypoallergenic.
6. First aid supplies: diaper rash cream, other child-oriented necessities.

This list is woefully incomplete.

If there are those of you with more knowledge of child rearing than me would care to contribute, I would be eternally grateful.

Okay, in the event Cassie and I are sent home, I'm making a change to the PT regiment back at HQ. From now all units will be made to chase a sugar-high toddler down the course within record time.

My daughter's a month away from turning two years old and yet I swear to whichever higher power listening, that girl's the embodiment of the roadrunner. The only times I'm able to get her to slow down is when she's eating and sleeping.
