1. Full sized candy bars are the best. And they'll keep vampires from drinking your blood. Hey, they like chocolate too.

2. Give chocolate to everyone who comes to your door, whether they're a two-year-old without a costume or a 22 year old scary-scary vampire.

3. Spiked cider is a great thing to give to your older trick-or-treaters. Brandy or whiskey are preferable.

It's been several months since I've said something, so I thought I might make a general announcement since October begins tomorrow.

I run Magic Alley, the magic shop, which is located at [address]. We're fully stocked with a variety of items, magical and not, some of which have been brought from other worlds. We also have an extensive selection of herbs and books. It is protected and warded, and has a room available for rituals, gatherings, lessons, and meetings if you need it.

Store hours are 10am-8pm Monday-Friday, Saturdays 11am-9pm, and Sundays 11am-8pm. If you need to visit the store outside of these times or to use the community room, please feel free to contact me, Sydney Sage-Ivashkov.

Additionally, I'm always happy to learn about how magic is used in other worlds, so you are welcome to stop by just to talk at anytime as well.

Looks like it's time for another volunteer Guardian call.

For those of you who aren't aware, the Guardians serve as protectors for the few Moroi here in town. The Moroi are vampires, living ones, who are pretty much like any of us save for the fact that they drink blood. We actually serve the same function as their Guardians back home though on a largely less dangerous level.

Any questions first, please ask. Otherwise, just leave your name and I'll be reaching out to you shortly.
